G-Dragon Speaks Out on 2023 Drug Allegations
In a laid-back format where guests literally lie under a blanket, G-Dragon opened with humor, “If I knew we’d just be lying down like this, I wouldn’t have bothered with makeup or wearing a hat.” But it wasn’t long before the topic turned serious.
When co-guest Ko Byun-ho casually began, “As a viewer of Infinite Challenge…,” G-Dragon cut in with a cheeky yet telling remark, “Is this an investigation?” — a clear callback to the intense questioning he endured from authorities. “I had nothing to hide,” he stated, confidently shutting down any lingering doubt.
Jung Hyung-don added, “He’s had his share of police questioning. He’s a pro.” To which G-Dragon replied, “A pro? I cleared up the misunderstanding.”
They also touched on a personal moment from G-Dragon’s military service. Jung shared, “You called me crying because your comrade wanted to hear my voice. It was the most pitiful call I’ve ever received.”
G-Dragon laughed, “He probably wasn’t just a comrade. That was the most pathetic point in my life.”
